1. Introduction

Welcome to Tech IT Easy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services, including but not limited to website development, mobile application design, SEO services, hosting, and ongoing support.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • “Client” refers to any individual or organisation purchasing or using services from Tech IT Easy.
  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Tech IT Easy.
  • “Services” refers to all digital services provided by Tech IT Easy, including website design, app development, SEO, hosting, and ongoing support.
  • “Scope” refers to the specific inclusions and limitations defined under each package.

3. Services Provided

Tech IT Easy offers:

  • Website design and development
  • Mobile and web app development
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Ongoing hosting, maintenance, and technical support

All services are outlined and agreed upon in writing prior to commencement. Any changes or additions to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and may be subject to additional fees.

4. Payment Terms

Website Package:

  • One-off Build Fee: £149
  • Monthly Hosting & Support Fee: £39
  • Scope Includes: Up to 6 standard pages
  • Extra Pages: £40 per page

App Package:

  • One-off Build Fee: £349
  • Monthly Hosting & Support Fee: £49
  • Scope Includes: Up to 6 app screens/features
  • Additional Functionality: Quoted and billed separately
  • Initial payment or deposit is due before work begins.
  • Monthly fees begin upon handover or agreed project stage and are payable via direct debit or standing order.
  • Monthly fees cover essential updates, technical support, backups, hosting, and performance monitoring.

Failure to make monthly payments within 14 days of the due date may result in the suspension of services. Hosting, maintenance, and support will be paused or terminated if fees remain unpaid beyond 30 days. A £25 reinstatement fee may be applied.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary content, branding, and access credentials promptly.
  • Ensure they have the rights to all materials submitted (text, logos, images, etc.).
  • Respond to requests and approve key project stages.

Delays in communication or content delivery may affect timelines and may incur additional fees.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All original work created by Tech IT Easy remains our intellectual property until full payment is received.
  • Upon full payment of the one-off build fee, you are granted a license to use the website/app for your business.
  • Tech IT Easy retains rights to use completed projects in our portfolio or marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Revisions and Changes

A reasonable number of revisions is included within the original project scope. Any work outside this, including feature requests, structural changes, or redesigns, may be subject to additional fees, which will be quoted prior to development.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

  • The initial deposit or build fee is non-refundable once work begins.
  • Any work completed up to the point of cancellation will be billed accordingly.
  • Ongoing service agreements (hosting/support) require 30 days’ written notice to cancel.

9. Scope Limitations

To maintain service quality and fairness:

  • Website packages are limited to 6 pages unless otherwise agreed.
  • App packages are limited to 6 screens or features.
  • Additional work, advanced functionality (e.g., eCommerce, user accounts, APIs), and custom integrations will be quoted separately.

Tech IT Easy reserves the right to define and limit the scope of what is included within the base package to prevent misuse of low-cost services.

10. Third-Party Services

We may utilise third-party platforms (e.g. AWS, GoodBarber, Duda, WordPress) for hosting, app infrastructure, or plugin functionality. While we select reputable services, Tech IT Easy is not responsible for downtime or issues caused by these third parties, but we will assist in liaising with them when needed.

11. Website and App Hosting

When hosting is provided by Tech IT Easy:

  • We use industry-standard, secure platforms to deliver reliable service.
  • While we strive for maximum uptime, we cannot guarantee 100% availability.
  • We are not responsible for content loss caused by client-side changes, force majeure, or third-party hosting failures.
  • Backups are maintained regularly for recovery purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue, business opportunity, or data
  • Website/app downtime caused by third-party failures
  • Delays or damages beyond our reasonable control

Our maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid for the service in question.

13. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all confidential information, including business operations, customer data, and technical solutions, strictly confidential during and after the term of engagement.

14. Termination

We may terminate services without notice if:

  • You breach these terms
  • Payment is not received within 30 days
  • You behave in an abusive or unreasonable manner

Upon termination, all outstanding fees remain due. We may disable and remove hosting or access to any service following non-payment or breach of agreement.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
